This intensive leadership program is designed for the seasoned manager, who wants to  understand and embrace the nuances of their unique leadership styles and to more effectively diagnose situations and modify their approaches.

You'll not only review the key attributes and skills successful leaders possess, but you'll also gain specific techniques and exercises you can put to use in your career to develop and refine your leadership abilities.  Throughout the program, you'll be assigned various reading assignments, participate in team based, competitive exercises and have the opportunity to discuss and debate the most effective leadership practices with one of the nation's most recognized experts in leadership, Dr. Gerald Graham.  This program is an opportunity to experience leadership training in a university setting.

This program will meet over the course of three Mondays during July 2012.  Each day will begin at 8:30am and end at 3:30pm.  You'll be assigned teammates and will collaborate as a team in quizzes, discussions and exercises to maximize your learning.   The intent of this program is to encourage the application of the elements of great leadership based on the research of author Jim Collins and his colleagues.

Prior to each session, participants will be asked to read selected chapters in the book, Good to Great, and respond to review questions.  Participants will take a quiz on assignments at the beginning of each session. In order to receive the book and the questions in time to prepare for the first session, please register prior to Monday July 2, 2012.
